Reliacon Sdn. Bhd. is a company provides professional civil & structural engineering consultancy services. Our company is located in Taman Bayu Puteri, Johor Bahru, Johor.
RELIACON is the short form of RELIAble CONsultant. Since the very beginning, it is has been, and will continuously to be, the goal of the company to serve the industries as a reliable consultant providing excellent engineering design always with added value and constructability.
With the 20 years of experiences, after setting up in 1996, Reliacon has achieved the fundamental goal and become specialized in many various types of structures such as

BtoCAD (is a computer aided drafting software.)
BricsCAD (is a computer aided drafting software.)
ETABS (developed by Computer and Structures Inc., is a special purpose commercial software for the analysis and design of the vertical members of a structure.
SAFE (developed by Computer and Structure Inc., is a special purpose commercial software for the analysis and design of the horizontal members of a structure.
STAADpro (developed by Research Engineers International, is a general purpose commercial software for the analysis and design structures.)
MES Infra (developed by Innovation Sdn. Bhd., a special purpose commercial software for the analysis and design of civil works inclusive of earth work, road and drainage, sewerage system, etc.)
WALLSELECT (is an in-house software developed by Dr . Ir. Lam Kai Yang using a FORTRAN compiler language. This is a software for the design of structure walls using the analysis output from ETABS. This software does the following: 1, read input and output data of ETABS 2, read standard wall section designs, concrete grade for each floor 3, select suitable wall section design for each and every wall panel 4, design spandrels 5, output wall loads to a STAADpro model for further analysis of transfer beam system 6, create wall schedule (inclusive of spandrel design) for construction 7, calculate wall form area, concrete volume, BRC and rebar quantities for cost study 8, create new input file for ETABS to re-analysis the revised structure system due to change of wall thickness.
The above is to be repeated until no further change of wall thickness is required.
With WALL SELECT, design of the structural wall panels of a high rise building can be economically optimized very easily and effectively.
With the working experience condensed and continuously built-in to WALL SELECT, everybody in the office will apply the same highest level of design capability. The design can be easily optimized for thinner walls, lighter structure and lower construction cost to suit various types of steel or aluminium form.
