Hard layer of subsoil was undulated ranging from 2m to 10m deep. Original design used bored pile. RELIACON worked together with contractor to redesigne the piling system using 200x200 squal RC piles (approximately 14,000 points), managed to optimise the cost from RM34 million down to RM18 million. Due to smaller pile spacing, the suspended ground slab cost was also reduced.

There were 5 blocks of 24 storey apartment next to North-South Highway near the Sungai Besi toll. The structure was originally beam-column design, RELIACON worked together with contractor to convert it the RC shear wall on transfer beam to optimize the construction cost.

This was originally design as beam-column structure on bored piles anchored in hard granite. RELIACON worked together with contractor to convert the structure to RC shear wall on transfer beam. The foundation system was converted to a combination of footing, hand dug caisson and micro-pile depending on the depth of the hard granite. Estimation of pile construction cost reduced from RM 2.4 million to RM 0.9 million.
